Site-Specific Technical Assistants
Early-career theater technicians interested in experimental, multimedia theater and getting hands-on experience making original performances come to life can apply to join Torn Space Theater as a Site-Specific Technical Assistant for the busy upcoming season.
Position Details
Torn Space Technical Assistants support the evolution of the production process for our signature site-specific production at Silo City. In preparation for the large-scale two weekend performance, assistants will work directly with Production Manager Carly Weiser and the Torn Space design team to organize, install and help make this annual ceremony possible. This position can focus on applicants’ specific interests in technical theater, including focus on costumes, sound, lighting, carpentry, props, front of house and stage or production management, but will most certainly include some combination of the above.

- Pre-production: July 1 – July 28
- Tech: July 29 – August 3
- Performances: August 4 – 6, 11 – 13
